It gives me immense pleasure to be director IITTM. I am in-house Professor with 2 decades of proud association with IITTM and that experience gives me ample scope to understand and streamline the organizational vision and mission setting an honest tone for creating tourism man power in the country through upskilling. IITTM under the aegis of Ministry of Tourism, Govt of India, is committed to be an esteemed tourism research institute in the country there by providing research consultancy services across the country. We are open to associate with all central and state related tourism organisations to take forward the motto of “Athithi Devo Bhava”. While India is racing from 6th largest economy to 5th largest economy in the world, globe is watching us and it’s the right time for our tourism to take off abiding by the principles of sustainability, conservation and preservation of culture, heritage and Nature of India.
